1.08 – Trainers – After Judgment Review
“Two Trainers attack a lonely Singing Woman. Steven and Michelle are forced to abandon their search for the little boy when the Trainers come for them.”

“Trainers” provides for a fairly chilling scene involving the Trainers and sets up a cliffhanger for the next episode.
In this episode:
- A singing woman is attacked by Trainers
- The last lyrics of her song are “those who still have eyes must die”
- She says that she expected the Trainers and asks if she can finish her song first
- Then the Trainers attack
- Michelle and Steven hear the singing woman’s cries
- The Trainers attack Steven’s place
- Steven and Michelle bolt out the back of his place

What intrigues me the most about this episode are the lyrics being sung by the red-haired woman. Unfortunately, I cannot make them out entirely, but the last few are certainly foreboding (at the very least) and just might provide a bit of foreshadowing. Perhaps the lyrics themselves provide some clues as to who the Trainers are and what their purpose might be — to hunt down those who know too much, perhaps?
That’d certainly be supported by the fact that they next show up at Steven’s place, especially considering Steven’s vision.
