1.09 – I Bleed For You – After Judgment Review
“Steven and Michelle enlist The Cop to help in the search. Then an encounter with Mr. & Mrs. Reynolds leads to a shocking discovery.”

After a relatively bried hiatus, the After Judgment series picks up again with “I Bleed For You” — an episode which signals that, somehow, the rules of the world have inexplicably changed.
In this episode:
- Steven and Michelle bump into The Cop who is bantering with the ventriloquist
- They ask The Cop for help with the Trainers
- They come across a couple relaxing in front of their house
- The tension is palpable
- The couple says, Thy lost their little boy
- After some verbal insults, the woman attacks Michelle
- A fight ensues
- Michelle gets the upper hand, giving the woman a bloody nose
- The woman asks, “How is this possible?”

“I Bleed For You” successfully continues the storyline, expanding the cast of characters to include The Cop. If there is a criticism to the episode, it’s in the ADR (voiceover work) which seems a bit more off-synch than usual. It isn’t major, but it could prove to be a distraction for viewers not already invested in the story line.
But for those who are already invested, the tension from “The Couple” seems designed to further deepen the mystery surrounding what has happened. For starters, the immediate hostility is something that must be taken into account. Second, there is the comment (dismissed rather quickly by Steven and Michelle) that the couple lost their little boy. And, finally, there is the bloody nose Michelle gives The Woman after their brief, but intense scuffle.
What all of this means is, as yet, unclear. But to give credit where it’s due, the episode manages to be entertaining while not only prolonging its central mysteries, but also deepening and widening them.
