1.13 – Sins Of Our Father – After Judgment Review
“Steven dreams of the night that his son left and how he was powerless to stop it. His slumber is interrupted by Lawrence and Xavier (his only true friends in the world) looking for something to eat.”

“Sins of Our Father” does a fantastic job of bringing the audience along an emotional journey — from the palpable sense of forboding in its opening scene, to the surprise and humor and its closing one.
In this episode:
- Begins “November 5th 7:38pm” – Steven watches a news report of the night everything happened
- In a flashback, Steven’s son says, “Bye daddy … I’m going outside … it’s safe for me, daddy.”
- The reflection of a cro
- The story jumps “100 years and 68 hours later”
- Steven is woken up by two men who say, “Father Steve, Let’s do this.”
- Steven is seen laying in bed with Michelle
- We learn that Steven used be a priest
- The two men want Steven to open the pizza shop
This episode gets credit for three things: the sense of dread, the revelation (pun intended) about Father Steven, and the humor of Steven’s two “friends” who just want a slice of pizza before they go off with something better to do. This is a highly entertaining installment which also manages to provide some important backstory for the main character.
