“The revelation and conversation is halted by an earthquake shock that shakes the entire shop. Steven and his companions exit the shop only to find out that the earthquake shock was the result of something completely different.”

“A Time For A Change” ends the first cycle of episodes from the After Judgment series. It’s a suitably bizarre and intriguing installment that also recaps many of the main plot events of the series thus far.

In this episode:

• Steven asks how The Boy relates to the idea of getting into heaven
• They recount how Michelle’s fight led to bloodshed from the other woman
• Steven and his companions feel what they think is an earthquake
• What they see is a strange plume of what looks like energy on the horizon
• Stevn says, “Well, that changes everything”

Of course, the real mystery here has to do with whatever caused the earthquake and energy plume. It certainly seems related to The Boy, the bloody nose, and the idea of getting into heaven. It makes for a fascinating cliffhanger which ought to keep After Judgment fans primed for its return.

The episode itself builds to its majestic conclusion with the help of not only some impressive visual effects work, but also the soundtrack which is brought to the fore and does a wonderful job of evoking the emotions of the moment: awe, wonder, and ominous mystery.
