From The Hollywood Reporter (THR.com) comes the news that the upcoming Battlestar Galactica prequel, Caprica, has cast its lead character, Joseph Adama. The role will be played by Esai Morales (NYPD Blue). According to THR.com, ” Joseph is described as a deeply passionate man with a strong sense of justice — and someone you wouldn’t want as your enemy.”

Actress Paula Malcolmson (Deadwood) is already on board as “a surgeon who works as a double agent.”
