Episode 4 – Central Division Review
I will say this much about Central Division: It’s not afraid to take chances. In fact, the series seems to take some wildly risky moves within its very short runtime. The result certainly maximizes drama and suspense. I’m looking forward to see how the story and the character(s) ultimately develop.
In this episode:
- Hodge says, “you screwed me over, you screwed me over and this is where it gets you.”
- Hodge discovers that Sarah really is dead
- Edwards says, “I lost both my people today.”
- Edwards shoots Hodge
- Closes the trunk
The “first season” of Central Division comes to a close with this episode — which implies that Edwards’ wife, Sarah, was having an affair with Hodge, and the whole plan was so that they could head off to “the beach” together. Oh, and Edwards was responsible for the death of his wife. There’s plenty of betrayal and distrust. And I wonder if, for the second season, we’ll get a glimpse into the past — the hows and whys for what we’ve seen thus far.
Either way, I’ll be tuning in.
