Indeed. The Wire Season 2 reviews are complete and I'll be starting Season 3 shortly. Once I've caught up on the past TV season (Legend of the Seeker, Fringe, Lost, Clone Wars, etc.), I'll start posting The Wire reviews once again. Also on the docket are reviews for the Sergei Lukyanenko's Night Watch book series, H.P. Lovecraft short story reviews, X-Files Season 2, BBC's Life documentary series, and Morgan Freeman's Through The Wormhole documentary series.

I loved these books. Even as a college student I love reading them. I love to adventure and these books just kept me turning the pages and wishing for another adventure by Alexa and her friends.

Bravo sir. In real life, Ozymandias would be just a new age psycho and if Rorschach existed in any form he was just a regular guy, Politics do not matter.
Bravo sir. Again V just wanted revenge and Ozymandias wanted to be the most famous person in the world again, no political motivation.

Hello

I really enjoyed the new V Series and the plot was good but I have a question regarding a sound track.

I am looking for the Song used in the last episode called Red Sky in the ending when they show the sky turning red. I am really moved by this song and would love to see a reply if i can abtain the name or the artist who sings this version as I seen this in other versions but quite the same.

hello

I am not sure if i can post this question here I am looking for the sound track of the new V series 2009 that was released by ABC.

The last episode named ( Red Sky ) the ending of this episide should a song that was originally made for another movie called Sunshine. I am having trouble finding or looking to aquire the exact same sound track as on the V Episode called red sky.

I be much appreciated if you can give me the name of that artists who sings in the end of this season 2 episode red sky.

I have always been a huge SK fan, his books were some the first i ever read as a child I have read every book he has written but never got around to this series> It never had the appeal at first look> But while looking for something to read for the summer I got the Gunslinger and began to read. Im not far into it but sofar Im finding not drawn in to the story the way I have been for the Stand, Carrie, The Dome name any of his others. I find myself missing the writting style of these books. I’m trying to stick with it. The review above tells me I should, so I make no promises, hopefully as the book continues I’ll feel the Stephen King I know and love, so far it doesnt feel like a Stephen King book at all.

I feel this was a great movie which showed how relationships although are not traditional can work. The threesome between Christina , Marie Elana and Juan Antonio functions with a steady balance when they start supporting each other in various roles. I think the landscape of Barcelona is beautiful and brings about a mood to the film of Romance. The performances by all four main characters are outstanding. This piece allows Penelope Cruz to shine as a sometimes hostile and volatile female character. I give it a B+.

An update–the fourth revision was released on April 9th of 2010. Much has been rewritten and improved, and the book is published under the author’s given name.

Shadow of the Chimaera is scheduled for release on December 21, 2010

Schisms and Storms (Tirlannon III) is scheduled for release on the very appropriate date of the 21st of December in 2012.

Hi Samuel,

In contrast to Leni, I have to say I find your reviews quite refreshing, specifically as you and I come from very different backgrounds with regards to LOTS.

When I first heard that Terry Goodkind had agreed to make his Sword of Truth series into a TV show, I was quite excited – it is my absolute favourite book series. I watched the trailer for the first episode far too many times in my anticipation. Unfortunately, the show started off so scattered and different from the books that it was quite disappointing. Now, I just try to watch it for entertainment value rather than how similar it is to the books. That being said, however, I want soooo much to like this show that I find that your reviews provide me with a good anchor to the reality of it and I find your comments truly make sense and only affirm what i’m already thinking.

Many of the episodes that you mark as ‘below average’ are actually where the producers/writers/directors have tried to add some elements of the books. I think they try too hard sometimes and end up losing what Terry had intended. I, like you, thoroughly enjoy when shows and books examine the human condition. Terry Goodkind devotes most of his books towards this goal and I even remember reading on a website somewhere that he sees himself more as a ‘human condition’ type of writer (though those may not be his exact words) than a fantasy writer. I am glad that LOTS has at least successfully attained some meaningful elements from the books, even if they weren’t how they were originally depicted.

I’m enjoying the second season much more than the first (I LOVE CARA!) and I’m heartened that you also enjoy it. Hopefully it will be renewed for another season.

I’m definitely intrigued about what you have to say about the last few episodes. Please keep them coming

The blast simulation was so stupid that I had to find someone else who called it BS.

Fingerprints affect blast patterns?

I guess they had to top the unrealistic crap that’s been going on in for example CSI for some years now, but do they really think sci-fi fans are that stupid? (Obviously yes.)

Keep Bridget Regan as the confessor Kahlen & keep Craig Horner as the seeker & if he has to learn his wizard powers let zed teach him so Craig Horner remains the seeker & Bridget Regan as the confessor because they are superb together as the seeker & the confessor together no other person can replace them their chemistry catches you when you watch them together & you learn things from them also so keep those 2 together without being replaced.
