Webseries Blitz
Thanks to the confluence of a number of factors, Dauntlessmedia.net has been fairly limping through the Fall season of shows — for television and web media. But in the upcoming days and weeks, you can expect to see a number of reviews, particularly in the realm of web media — a highly experimental and raw medium which is home to a number of shows which challenge the status quo of episodic storytelling.
There are a number of shows that have been in my queue for some time that I’ll finally be able to study and review. The following series are first and foremost on the list:
- Valemont – From the same production company that created Afterworld and Gemini Division
- The Third Age – “A magical realist psychedelic remix of classic mythology. It tells the story of ordinary people who become caught up in a cosmic war when gods fall to Earth.”
- Central Division – A show which asks, “Where did all the gritty cop shows go?”
- Bleed: The Series – A vampire story billed as “Kevin Smith’s ‘Clerks’ meets Joss Whedon’s Buffy the Vampire Slayer.”
Watch the episodes, then tune in for the reviews!
