Sisko should have a better way of saying “I will return” than a baseball in his office. A personal statement on the Federation and its goals perhaps? The battle was thrilling, at least until Garak showed up on the Defiant, huh? Typical Rom overacting, and the wrong pairing over and over. The worst of them all-Damar and Weyoun-just joking!

And, I think, this was a good episode but Garak is underused to the point of his character being at best a small miniature on the human scale of ds9. Sisko’s acting was good, but there’s not really anything at stake for him if he loses the station, compared to Kira, who could lose Odo, Bajor, the wormhole or Odo, who could lose Kira, he has no close friends, Jake is closer to Bashir and where Jake’s concerned, Sisko hasn’t always been number one dad, so his speech seemed half-hearted and ineffectual. Just minor things, I guess.

The acting is the fault of the episode. It’s not a complete and total failure, but we have no idea of the torture Ghemor was going through because he wasn’t dying..like really dying, blood and coughing and Kira is being told by other men (if odo is “the other man.”) Plus Kira hasn’t made like a blood oath with this guy, so Ghemor is really no more important to her than her father, who she left to die like a total idiot. I wanted to be absconded by this story, but it was a big disappointment. Too much procedural exposition/s and no real drama. Kira’s features at the end show she wasn’t really sad about this dead guy. Again, she’s too human and not Bajoran anymore.

Just too perfect. Not one of ds9’s best but classic. I think there is some have some great, humanizing dukat, and if the story of betrayal, of betraying the bajorans and bajor law and priorities a bit a hollow, it’s kinda hilarious.

Actually, I watch this episode and these things make more sense. The acting is terrific, marvelous and perfect. WELL DONE! even the music is used well. The title “Return to Grace” makes sense because we have a hallmark of graceful acting. Kira has not lost the breathtaking subtlety and grace of her very changed character. Just perfect.

Hold, on thoroughly whiny worshipful Kira goes into “Rapture” mode. Again, this episode is more about mood and tone than substance. Awfully weird that a bait-and-switch episode like “Rapture,” whose emotional empathy surrendered to human Sisko. I Like the Reckoning better. anyway, everyone else, even the klingon thingy was perfect.

There’s something wrong with Bajoran priorities when Sisko is thoroughly immersed in bajoran culture awhile Kira justifies federation membership to the kai. This is a difficult episode for me to watch. When does Kira want a Federation alliance? Hardly classic. Sisko is a human, and he should make sure to consult with Bajor (bajoran priorities) before blowing up the wormhole or excavating an ancient city without a Bajoran guide or bringing along Kira. This episode totally ignores Bajoran politics in a half-baked, overcooked and overwraught, over worked aaaah!
